Default good price ?

ok, im going to be buying a new z within the next week. im looking between the enthuiast model and the touring. If i get the ent. model im just getting it with a few options like aluminum kick plates and floor mats but if i get the touring im getting aluminum kick plates, floor mats, navigation, and side curtain air bags. and both will be 6MT, san marino blue. the total msrp for the models on nissan usa is..
ent. :31,105
touring:36,005

and this will be the first car im buying on my own. so im just curious to how much can i talk the dealer down on each of these models and what would be the most i should pay? and im going to be putting a 5k down payment.

you can do better. i just ordered a 07 smb grand touring auto with all the add-on junk and sat radio for 37,725 out the door (35,738 invoice, 1787 tax, 200 title and tags). didn't get nav - said it's sat radio or nav, but can't have both, anyway, you can get the top of the line garmin nuvi for under 800. good luck.

Buy USED! Save yourself the heart ache of driving off the lot and losing what?... $5k-8k?? USED FTW! I'm positive you could find exactly what you want for under $30k easy. These, like nearly everything else, will have lost significant value with less than 1000 miles. I know new = sexy, but man... It just aint worth it!

Rule of thumb is $1500 $2000 below MSRP.

Building a car at nissanusa is fine, but you will not be able to find an exact match. Find the 350Z that you want to buy. Post the MSRP.
