2005 Touring. What should I offer?
It's an auto 2005 Silverstone Touring with 12k miles on it and with the 5-spoke polished rims. They're asking for 24.5. What do you guys think I should offer for it? They're also including a bumper-to-bumper 7y/100k warranty, with 24H roadside assistance, and $50,000 coverage on the car. I'm going to start low and offer 21k. But I'm curious to see what the consensus here may be.

I am, but I'm gonna' do it tomorrow. It never hurts to ask plenty of questions and do as much research as possible. $20k is quite a bit of money.
I'm actually about to go check out a Blue/Black Z in my neighborhood right now. Fully loaded touring with navi, 2003 w/22k miles.

I got my 2005 Black Touring 6MT with 10k miles on it last july with the same wheels and certified for about 27ish which wasn't as low as I wanted, but they took my trade for 2500 higher than anyone else. Their asking price is inline with retail value. If you can knock another 1-2k off of the price, Its a great deal. Go for it.
ARGHH!! The blue/black Touring with Navi was sold yesterday. It was on the lot for only 2-3 weeks. I can't believe how fast it went. Dammit! I'm so upset. I'm gonna' check out the Silverstone tomorrow. And a red/white touring in Jersey on Wed.
Omg....the 2005 Touring with Navi was abused beyond all hell. The previous owner put scissor door hinges on it -- poor car. The doors would not open and close properly. There is tons and tons of leather and vinyl missing from the panels of the door from where they clearly rubbed everytime the door was opened. And there is a HUGE chunk missing from where the door meets the roofline, once again...clearly somebody didn't have the door aligned when closing it and it took off a 2 inch piece of car. Disgusting.
The car had an awful Borla exhaust on it - it was as loud as a Harley bike. And the front bumper had tons of scratches all over the bottom, which indicated the car was hit. After seeing the nauseating condition that the passenger side front rim was in (chewed up EVERYWHERE, not just lip area) the car was definitely involved in an accident of some sort. With the scratches on the bumper and the rim, it most likely jumped a curb going too fast. I still drove it, and it was quick. It was also dropped an inch.
But the car is shot to hell. The scissor door hinges were permanent, and the dealership said they wouldn't be able to get it back to stock. Huge shame. Beautiful car, and whoever owned it destroyed before it even had a chance.
Only 12k miles on it too. What a shame. I was more upset for the car, rather than myself not being able to buy it. I can't believe somebody would treat a Z like that.
