Ill be drivin the car daily and a lil racin now and then nothing to major tho. Really wanted to know if any one had made the switch either way. Z to S or S to Z and how they felt about it. i owned a 00 s2k before my 06 Z...i have to say i love the handling and the tranny of the S much muchh better...but i love the space and the POWER of the Z so they both have their ups and downs...if i had a choice i would go back to an S but i do love my Z so im gonna stick with it for a good while.

Did you get a chance to drive a 350Z?

I lean towards the Z myself, though I've only ridden in an s2k. I frequently take long trips so the Z seems more comfortable.

Currently I own a miata and I dislike how loud it is at highway speeds...getting a Z soon, unless someone gives me a whirl in a hardtop s2k and it turns out to be just that much better.

both are fun cars. The Z is definitely more spacious, but the s2k is definitely more fun to drive.

I dont know, but I dont think the S2K is a match for the Z even in the twisties. I've seen footage I've seen reviews and all I see is the Z passing the S2k over and over again on a track. Yeah a light car you can go into the turn faster. But to get out of the turn you got to punch the **** out of it then wait Boom VTech kicks in then shift. Were the Z comes out of the turns with full power on tap.

Sorry but its no choice for me Z all the way. Its the best of both worlds nimble and agile and powerful. I test drove the S2K over and over again because I really liked the car, but after driving the Z, I felt like the S2k had lil to no real power. You cant really compare a 6 to a 4 unless its an EVO. Just my .02.

Still the S2k is a sexy car I still like it but if your talking about performance No brainer man go test drive the Z and see for yourself. If your S2k is paid off already keep it.

I like hondas myself, because they are so reliable, but I picked the Z for several reasons. It looks better IMO, and more tq.

FI s2k doesn't make bad for a DD as it comes with forged internals something that will put a slight ease on your mind, but don't cut corners by upgrading the necessary items such as clutch and other ammenities. I daily drive a turbo s2k and haven driven many stock s2ks/350zs, interior wise I probably would go with a 350z other than the cheap door panels. I love the top down and wind blowing , something you can't experience in a coupe especially a Z with no sun roof. If interior is what you don't like, spend some money there and fall in love. If you want torque, supercharge it because it seems you want relability/comfort as a DD, you won't regret it.
