Default So I'm off to the stealership for a quote on a 2007 Z

Hello, been a member of this forum for a few months now, and I've finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a 2007 Z. Currently driving an Audi A4 and it's nearing 100k miles and it's giving me problems. Any suggestions on when is it a good time to buy an '07 for a good price before the '08 comes out. I want a white enthusiast and the dealership I'm heading off to has a white enthusiast in stock. I don't want to be too late so they will stop producing the '07 and I'm stuck with whatever color they have. Also over the phone they quoted me $27.7k, wondering what people paid for theirs?

when i was looking at a new base model when the 07 JUST came out they quoted me around 27ish before tax and license
sounds like a fair over the phone quote

later i bought a used 03 enthus. with 32k miles for about 22 grand off the lot

27.7 is a good deal. Should be less than 30K out the door.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. Anything under $30K otd on an enthusiast is pretty good

So you paid around 28.5 otd? Under $30 I can afford, so I stopped aiming for the touring + navigation, which I really wanted, but it's a bit over my budgest. Thanks for the replies

Why did you try to mislead everyone then? No one cares about the price before taxes title and license... they only care about OTD price.

Exactly. If you can get a brand new Enthusiast for under 30k OTD, you got yourself a decent deal, especially in the middle of the summer.

No no no. I would never ask for a quote. Figure out what you want to pay. Make an offer.

I can’t help much unless you give me a MSRP.

You must be a complete idiot. You have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you are talking about. The only price that DOES mean anything is the price before tt&l. OTD price means nothing. Especially in the states that dont have a state sales tax.

So before you start talking out your *** and telling people they are trying to mislead others you should know what the hell you are talking about. I cant stand people that spout off at the mouth when they have NO clue. Fn morons.

So I just got back. Got a good quote, for enthusiast. Took me 3 hrs but I finally managed to leave. Didn't have the white one that I wanted, but had a san marino blue that I test drove. Quoted me roughly 7.99%apr, 27.8k (not out the door), $5,200 trade in value + $4300 cash down payment. Payment was the one I was worried about which only came to about $377/ 72 month term. Hope to be driving one soon, but it might be a base model white one -_-

That may be true for the buyer. The buyer could say “I have $31,000 to spend. Can you make it work?”

On the other hand, I cannot recommend a out-the-door price because there are to many variables.

So I'm not too familiar with the math on the car. But if I'm paying $5200 (trade-in) + $4300 cash as down payment = $9500. The finance comes out to 377/mo for 72 months = 27,144. I paid basically 27,144+9500 = 36,644? Is that normal for when you finance a car? I mean I think they gave me a great deal on the car, but damn that's a lot!
