Default '06 Z, should I buy?

Alright, I'm relatively new to the Z community, and I have a couple questions. The car I'm interested in is a 2006 Silverstone Z Enthusiast with about 17,000 miles on it. The asking price is $24,000.

My question is, I've heard different things about the '06 models, I know there's an oil consumption issue on some cars, but is that the only problem with the 06's? And is this a good deal? Thanks for any help.

oil consumption issue came with late 05 models and 06. those are mainly with 6MT, few guys complained about 5AT having this issue.

i bought my 2006 5AT Touring with 6k miles for $28k.

Window, do you ever write anything that could even remotely be considered valuable in any post that you make on this board?

I personally would have gotten an 07 with the newer engine, but it's not a bad deal. Congrats and enjoy your car.
