Default What is your opinion

Would it be a stupid decisions to sell my 06 redline touring, and then using the cash to purchase a 03-05 used 350z that is already turbo-charged?

I would like more power, but dont want to spend a bunch of money to mod my Z starting from stock. It seems like you could get a well-built and tuned Z for a decent price.

Forced-induction is going to cost you one way or another. Either add FI to your car, or buy a 350Z with FI. There is no way to get around the additional cost.

Well, you can buy a used 350z with FI for just a bit more than a used 350z w/o FI.

If I FI my 350z it will cost my $10k... or I can seel my 06 350z for $25-26k and buy a 2003 FI 350z for ~$23k.

What I am worried about is playing russian roulette by buying a FI 350z and not know anything about that car in particular. I know nothing really about FI and what to look for on reliablity or if it was a good install/tune.

I dont want to buy a FI Z and then have to spend a bunch of money on a new engine.

Question

Did you buy a 350Z with forced-induction?
