Default Big Decision on Base or Enthusiast 07 350z

Hey guys, just wanted to ask you guys about the two models. Im making a big decision on buying the 350z, i've wanted it for a while now. I thought about the STi, but too be honest, just isn't what i'm looking for as a college student. Now the question I had was if the TCS and "vicious limited-slip rear diff." would honestly be worth the extra money over a base model.

I'm addicted to the mod bug, and I know i'm going to mod the car. It's gonna be all or nothing for me, I have a decent amount of money saved up to get TA TE37's, some BRIDE Gias, Project Mu, Nismo v2 front, sides, and spoiler, nismo goodies, and etc. To sum it up, i'm a JDM ***** and that's my direction with the project. So to bring up the previous question, would it be OK to go with the base over the enthusiast if i'm going to mod? I don't plan on tracking, but maybe once a month to test the waters, and I could care less about racing on the street (not condoning it).

Anyways, it's great that I got to introduce my problem choosing, hopefully I'll be able to make my decision here in a couple weeks and get some pictures posted up. Any feedback is great and I hope to be more involved with the community, thanks!

if you plan on installing an aftermarket lsd then sure get the base. but if thats not in your immediate plans get the enthusiast. the open diff in the base model is junk.
good luck

Thanks for the reply, that's definately an option i'm going to be looking at. BTW another thing I wanted to ask was about the VIP discount, is it possible to still get the paperwork for this? I've heard people getting z's $1000 below invoice, sounds too good to be true imo though.

I don’t know which model suits your needs, but I can tell you what members are driving.

Default ...

the small things shaped my decision to stay away from the base model... cruise control, hid's (i think the 07's got those anyway tho), the homelink garage door opener, etc...

the cruise control was enough for me tho by itself, so im going with a touring... if it fits ur needs and ur budget, go with it!!
