this is kind of response I want.. I am ready to buy a car too so I should be able to get a good deal but how low is to low for them to go? they were asking 20k on sticker and I saw car online listed for 18k. I already drove the car and it was nice but I am apprenhensive about getting a base, no LSD, no navi, no leather, no heated seat.

Looks like an Enthusiast to me.

Studying the various models before shopping might be a good idea.

I got my 03 performance a few months ago for 19000, it had 23k miles.
I would offer around 16500-17000 and go from there.

+1. I hope the OP was not serious about actually going to a local rim shop.

I advise the OP to do some research before doing anything.

03 is non rev up. Also unless 03 lineup is different to 05 (except anniversary), the performance model has brembo and vdc, the enthusiast has tcs.

As for being apprehensive about not getting those extra things not offered by the base then dont get a car without it. You will miss the things you want. I am 100% sure i would have totalled my Z by now if it wernt for the tcs.

Hope that helps.

Look at the switch on left lower dash. If it says "TCS", its an Enthusiast; if it says VDC, a Performance.

Do some homework on models. Several of the responses here are the blind leading the blind.
