Default Can someone help with invoice pricing INFO please?!

Is the invoice on a touring 6-speed $29,818 or $30,818? Several websites list one or the other.

350Z Touring 6-speed
MSRP / Invoice
car-prices-costs.com 33,179 / 29,818
edmunds.com 33,179 / 30,338
cars.com 33,179 / 30,338
kbb.com 33,179 / 29,818
nada.com 33,179 / 29,818

Can anyone tell me for sure which is correct? I thought that some may add in the $540 destination, but then they did not add it to the MSRP. Any ideas???

The only thing I can tell you is the 6 speed on a Touring is an option; $1590, the 5AT is standard. I would guess the higher number for the invoice is $30,338. If you notice, the destination charge added to $29,818 is only $20 difference from the 30,338, I would think $29,818 is the invoice. In any case you have to pay the destination charge, it is NEVER negociable. I think the $30,338 includes the destination charge. I have no clue why there is a $20 discrepancy.

Thats what I was thinking. I forgot about the 6-speed being 'option'.

$29,818 (Nissan 350Z 6MT) is the value I have from Nissan documentation on 3/3/2003.

This is the base cost; dealer holdback is already baked into this number (ie. dealer won't go broke selling at this price.)

Nissan had an ~1.5% price increase in May, so the higher number at edmunds.com is correct.

Thank you. This is the info that I needed.

May I ask what type of Nissan documentation you have?

When I was negotiating for my vehicle from Benson Nissan in Spartanburg, SC, the sales manager told me the invoice price as given by edmunds.com.

Throughout our dealings, I had no reason to dispute the numbers.

I am very weary of trusting what any car salesman says a cost is, manager or otherwise. They are always going to go with the higher number, and then make up a story to back it. I was just hoping that someone has seen the number in type to prove it as fact. Not dealer fiction.

Believe me, I agree with you about not trusting them.

However, I satisfied myself with his answers and his invoice numbers matched www.edmunds.com

So his number matched edmunds.com before you said anything about it? If that is the case then I guess it would be safe.

Thanks!

Default invoice pricing on z

just a quick interjection, from a salesman who can't be trusted

MSRP according my resources here at the dealership is 33280 plus 540 for destination, so 33820.
INVOICE is then 30431 plus 540 for destination, so 30971.

If you go to edmunds.com they will show the exact same numbers, only they add 79 and 59 for the floormats.

And of course edmunds also puts TMV at 33769, which everybody knows that internet sources like edmunds, kbb and nada are always correct with their assements of vehicle values. Since, they are buying and selling these vehicles on a daily basis.

Oh, and by the way I have some touring six-speeds in stock right now, but they also have more options than just the base touring.

Hopefully, this answers your questions, about the pricing on the 350Z touring 6-speed.

I bet you'd like to sell some at TMV.
