Default 350z 06' touring VS. 350z 05' track

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a 350z, my eye caught these 2 z's. It's hard to decide right now which one to get track 05' or touring 06'...

Since most of you own Z's and probably know more about them, i'm looking for some help for my final decision.

Thanks

Btw: here are the links: 06'TOURING - http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/nis...an&distance=50

05'TRACK - http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/nis...an&distance=50

Get the 06. It's cheaper, has less miles and the black with orange interior is sweet. Just make sure it hasn't had any oil consupmtion issues.

Yes, i have been reading that long thread lol (135pg)... haven't gotten to 50% yet. I'm worried about that oil consumption problem, did they get NISSAN to fix that problem for them or not ? hard to find in that 135pg thread...

It's not only about the looks... white or black i wouldn't mind.

As im reading more about the car it seems that both cars 05track and 06'TOUR.. have same engines with same oil consumption problem.. HMMM.. SCARY

Maybe i should be looking at 04' ? Do they have known problems? What are they? i have read something about Tranny and Tire wear.. Are they common ?

This deal looks pretty nice, what do you think ? http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/car/602687693.html

BTW: I assume that 06'TOUR has oil consumption problem, since it says 27K milage..

If you are anxious about reliability maybe the 350Z is not for you.

- cant assume anything, people sell cars for many many reasons!
- not all 05 models have the rev up engine, only the track and the aniversary edition
- 04.5 is and an 05 is a good bet

#1 you are probably right.. that i can't assume. But after reading that big post about that problem, seems likes it's big.

One more question. If the car was made in July '04, so it is 04.5 right ?

the oil consumption issue is hit and miss, some were lucky enough to not have it while others like myself have. There is a "fix" but from what's been seen, that "fix" is hit and miss as well! Some people are on their 3rd engine from Nissan. I'll be going in for my first at the end of this month hopefully!

G/L with your purchase, you can't go wrong either way!!!
