when i was at the Nissan dealer friday night i asked about Rebates & Incentives. currently there is a $2,000 rebate on 2007 350Zs, but nothing for the 2008 models.

when i asked about what might be coming for the month of May the dealer/owner said he just had no idea of knowing. he made the comment if they knew days/weeks in advance that a certain model was going to have a Rebate/Incentive they would just tell buyers to wait a few days or a couple of weeks, they would get an additional amount off.

does anybody know of anything thats coming up for the month of May for the 2008 350Z? and if not, is there really any way of knowing what Rebates & Incentives might be looming?

Don't worry about rebates and incentives. Neither is a windfall for the buyer. The dealer is going to make his money somewhere.

 

My guess nothing will be availble on 08 till October?
That's when I got $1500 on my 07 & dealers have many 07's still to sell.

 

well, maybe i should check with my dealer again and see if he cant locate me an '07, and get me another $2,000 off.

anyone have any idea if he could locate a 2007 Enthusiast in Nogaro Red this time of the year?

That color was not offered in 2007. When you go to sell your 2007 it will be worth $2,000+ less than the 08 for the better part of the coming decade. There is no way to know upcoming incentives, and there is not any rebate on 2007 Zs. That $2,000 is dealer cash, that they may or may not choose to pass along. My professional opinion is that you are confusing "less expensive" with "cheaper"

Generally speaking, the best way to get a deal is leave your options open. Since you have it narrowed down to a specific car, you should just go bite the bullet.
