Default Trading in my Z.... Question

Hey everyone. Its been a great ride with the Z but I need to get rid of it and buy an economical car =( Not a long time ago a dumbass hit me in the parking lot when i was in the store so my front bumper and part of my headlight is scratched.

My question is about trading cars in. If i were to buy a bra and put it on the bumper, do you think dealers check under the bra? I know its a shitty move on my part but if i can get away with it I might as well. The car is in great condition cept that part and I dont want them to quote me at 1k-2k less becuase of it.

If it's a major dealership, then yes, they will find it. There is a person that looks at the whole car to find the right price they want to negotiate your car for depending on condition.

Why don't you try to sell it?

Why waste your money on a bra? Just put some duct tape over it, and they will never know.

man these douches here are comedians

i see no point to "invest" more into this car if i am trying to sell it

I'm prob gonna go to a dealer near my house and see what he offers me. I know what the KBB value is. If he low ***** me ill just try to sell it privately. But we all know high school kids will also try to lowball me or just take it for a spin.

We don't really check under the bra. We just figure ~800-1200 bucks to respray the entire front end since it's not the 80s any more and nobody wants one of those, and the commensurate diminished value arising from the difficulties selling a car with considerable paintwork.
