Default Hello All!!!!

Hello, I am new to the forum. I have been reading for a few months so I figured I would say hi. I do not own a Z but I really want one. I am planning on getting one in the next month or two. I would like to get one that is already modded but not overly done if you know what I mean. I feel a sports car has to be a manual or else your missing out. I did some reading and saw that it is best to stay away from 03's and 06's. How do you all feel about convertible vs. a coupe? well any tips you guys can give is greatly appreciated.

*sorry if I put this in the wrong spot.*

I recommend both. Its like a 1,000 horsepower so you need drilled and slotted brake lines.

i was researching this just yesturday but i have no links for you. There are numerous differences between the two applications. Research would be your best bet at finding out which one works better for you. Not trying to be secretive but there really is a books worth of things that can influence ones decision to buy one or the other

for example, i thought that if i wanted the sweet blow off valve, i needed a turbo. Seems i was wrong, seems that supercharges like the vortech, have such an instrument but it recirculates the air, called a bypass valve in that case i think (don't quote me on anything). I grew up around turbo cars and grew to love the sound.

My point is, take your time and do the research. Also if FI is on your mind and you are yet to buy the Z, maybe you should consider other cars that come factory boosted.
