Do you need a VIN in order to apply?

I don't have mine yet.

Ray,

what is the term of your loan?

Did you get less then 5.49% because of shorter term (like 36 month) or was there some other discount involved like direct withdrawl?

How did you get 5.25 when they advertise 5.49?

bones: he got the 1-36 month deal at 4.75%. (which includes .50 for direct withdrawl.) since he did not want direct withdrawl.. it shot to 5.25%. You are right, the 37-60 month loan is 5.49% (again, would be 5.99% if he didn't want EFT).

i got 5.49% for $20K. woo hoo!

Default Interest Rate . . .

That is pretty amazing. I will definitely show it to the guy who tries to set me up at Nisaan.

Costco's website or peoplefirst's? I am a member, but I don't see what that has to do with a car loan??

Go to SERVICES on COSTCO's website. They offer many member benefits including auto loans.

the difference on my loan of $22K would be less than $7/mo. or less than $400 over the life of the loan 60 mo. (5.49 v. 4.82) i dont know if it's worth the extra credit check when I plan on paying it off in less than 3 yrs. ymmv.
