I was told by a "sales manager (he said he was, but who knows over the phone...)" the other day that the nissan rep told him that the 2004's (coupe of course, not roadster) won't be available to the first pre-orders for 6-7 months! Have you all heard anything about this? I'm trying to buy one w/ in the next couple weeks & I don't want them sitting on my money forever. I haven't found ANYONE that will take under MSRP. I've contacted just about ever dealer in Texas, AZ, WA, OR, and a few other states

Anybody in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Maryland should make use of Sheridan Nissan. These guys got my 2003 Silverstone Touring in 3 days for $500 below MSRP and "threw in" some goodies such as Z LP frame, Z bag, Z cargo net, Z seatback
organizer and a Nissan first aid kit. I did my research and searched about 7 area dealers. They by far were the best. At the time I bought my car, Zs were all going for MSRP and above. I financed through a private party and did opt for an extended warranty. Smooth sailing! Let me know if you are looking...I have a "connection" at the dealership since I have brought them 5 customers who purchased Nissans. Good luck!

Just an FYI, Nissan of Scottsdale (Phoenix, AZ) actually advertised that they were discouting Z's $1000's. Z's are readily available here. You guys need to learn how to negotiate

Also, when you mentioned all the options except side air and nav, did you get BOTH satellite radios (XM and Sirius, not sure if it's possible but they're both options),liquid silver paint (it's an option too) and 18" chrome wheels?
Just wanna be clear here so people are comparing apples to apples...

Ahh yes, sorry that I wasn't clear in my post. My car is silverstone so no, I didn't get Liquid Aluminum paint. Its a Touring Model, and that comes with the 18 inch wheels and pressure monitor. I had no idea satellite radios were options. The only options presented to my at the time of purchase were:
Side Air Bags
Nav
Kick Plates
Splash Guards
Aero Pack
Trunk Mat
Floor Mat
Cargo Pack
I got everything but the side air bags and nav. I got it 34k out the door, meaning, thats all i'm paying. It includes every charge (price, TT&L, destination charge, etc etc)

I got a Track 2004 with leather interior, Bose system and all the possible extras for 37,000 out the door. Now you may think they don´t produce this kind of car but Nissan does for Panama - central america.

I bought my 2004 Enthusiast a week ago today for $1k under msrp. (I'm located in N. Cali) If I wanted to go with an 03 model, I could have gotten one at invoice or pretty damn close to it.
