Default What are do you guyss/gals think of this price

Started doing some shopping for an 04 enth. All i wanted was a stripped down model, nothing but floor mats. (the kick plates im going to put in myself, i like that sort of stuff) I was in a dealer near my house, and they ofered me 27,750 after some talkings. Originally came to me with an offer of 30k and I laughed (these prices are all BEFORE tax, and including destination). My question is should I try for more off? That price is 992 dollars over invoice. Any suggestions? HELP!

(edited, Punctuations are a wonderful thing)

Wasn't sure if you were aware, but the destination charge is included in the MSRP price. I know some dealers try to use that as a negotiation tool--but it looks like you have a pretty decent offer as is. Also, are you in a hurry to buy? It typically works to your advantage when you're not--and, why not try lower?? What do you have to lose, worst thing is they come back and say no. Best of luck to you!

Na im not in a hurry at all... As it is until i find a better insurence quote i won't be buy anything. Last two quotes i got where for 450 a month (im 21, live in NY, clean driving record) but im doing this 100% on my own, no "o the car is on my dads insurence", the only parental help will be a cosign. But i have to find better insurence here in NY. As for the car, Im itching to get in, ive driven it on 4 seperate occations, even asked a dealer to take my dad for a drive, just to see what he thought. (he loved it ) But i wanted to see if you guys though that was a good price, im going to try to get them down to 27250 but its going to take some haggaling, also want to see if they will throw the mats in for free. As my pops says, Im not buying a car from a dealer who isn't giving me free floor mats

thanks for the input, means alot, this message board is a great place for us car enthusiasts to come together
