Question common problems 2005z?

Hello guys/girls I'm new and tried to find post about this but I'm about to perhaps purchase a 2005 350z and just wanted some of you to tell me about the common probs of the 05..i can find the common problems with the 03 all day..are some the same with 05..window motor? feathering? .this one is an automatic, im also wondering if HID lamps are standard on 05, i believe i read that they arent on the 03 models, i dont think i've seen a single Z w/o HID, Is there a better year model i should go for..Im pretty much a stock guy for most cars, i think the z is nice looking without having to ad anything to it..thanks for the suggestions

Rear axle clicking. Make sure it's fixed before it leaves with you.

Only the base model on the 03 - 05s didn't have HIDs.

05 is good bet; fewest problems.

have a mechanic you pay/trust check it out.

As to features use "search".

I have an 05 and axle clicking was my only issue. If you still have warranty your dealer should fix it under warranty. Some dealers refuse if you only have drivetrain warranty.

Depends on the dealer. My dealer is a pain in the rear and im currently under drivetrain warranty and they said axle clicking is NOT part of the drivetrain warranty. I tried called Nissan USA and they said its the dealers discretion to see if it qualifies under warranty work.

Sorry wrong forum. This is where we say “Congratulations!” to new 350Z owners. Ones with the keys in their hands.
