I've seen several threads pretaining to dealer problems folks have when buying their Zzzs. Two tips:

1) Car Brokers: Below is a link to a thread I posted several months ago espousing the virtues of using a car broker. It is the only way to buy a car in my opinion.

Rather than ordering a car from a dealer for furure delivery, you might check the Nissan site. The site contains a reasonable up to date inventory of every Nissan dealer in the country. Check the site for Zzzz inventory of dealers within a 100 (or whatever) miles of you. You just might find your car.

I ordered a Z in November last year. But after reading the nightmares of dealers missing delivery dates on web sites, I kept looking thru inventories throughout northern Cali. Found the exact car I wanted at a dealer 300 miles south of me. The broker called & made the deal and the dealer had it delivered to my door for $250 in December.

I can't stand car dealers. The above tips take the control away from the dealers. Thats a good thing!
