Default I need professinal help

Okay guys so I've been making posts like crazy because Im a noobie when it comes to buying a car (first time) but I want a Z. SO Im looking for anybody who has purchased a new or used Z to tell me EXACTLY what I am suppose to do when i walk into the dealer wanting to buy their used Z.

Ive been to couple dealers already and it hasn't gone all that smooth since I dont have a Z stilll. So please just info. on what am i suppose to do/say when i am in their office sitting down wanting a lower price.

Thank you

Step 1 - Walk in and ask for the Sales Manager.

Step 2 - Tell the sales manager you are serious about buying a Z and you are prepared to make a downpayment immediately.
Step 3 - Tell him, you'll start writing a downpayment check - but you'd like to see the 'invoice' (not MSRP) and you'd be willing to pay invoice minus any available incentives.
Step 4 - Shake Hands; Sign the papers; Make the Downpayment and set a date when you are going to take delivery!

The subject may seem complicated but it is pretty simple:

a. The key is pricing vehicles "before" you shop. Find the 350Z that you want. Determine the maximum that you are willing to pay.

b. Visit the dealer and say “I will give you $$$ for this car today.”

Do yourself a favor and also get preapproved by your lender prior to walking in. Have a check from your lender ready to go that you can sign over to them. Don't bother with financing through the dealership, it really takes away from your position when they need to start running numbers to get you into the car.

so i go and simply ask what the invoice price is and start from there?

Like some of you are saying i did go into the dealership did the test drive, told them Im willing to take home today, and told them the price and they didnt budge. i guess its just the dealer, will keep trying. Thanks for all the advice

9 out of 10 “Thinking about getting a 350Z” members ends up with a RSX. Its a fact.
