Check the Courtesy online catalog... CLICK

$1400 to $1700 just for the HU. Throw in an amp, wiring, labor and you can easily see where it would add up to $2400.

The bottom line is that you don't just turn in the car, walk away and wait for a bill. If you do, you'll be taken for every penny they can get like the OP.

I've only leased once in my life and during the return process Nissan sent a 3rd party inspector to evaluate the condition of your car. If there are damages you are given a copy of the estimated cost to repair before the car is turned in. You have an option at that time to go through the dealership or go somewhere else to get the car fixed. When it was time to turn the car into the dealership, the guy who handled the lease returns did a walk around of the car and compared the condition to the 3rd party report. After every that is said and done you shouldn't be surprised at which items Nissan will charge you, but at that point you are at the mercy of their inflated prices.

The weird thing is is that I've never even noticed any sort of issues with half of the repairs they are charging me for. I'll be seeing Nissan on monday.

omfg at the radio cost. I'll give you my 05 stock radio for half price i can't even begin to see where they would pull a price like that from, unless they pulled it out of the *** of Adrianna Lima, then I can see it costing $2500
