Default Nissan is trying to charge me $3000!

so I returned my 350z roadster on March 8th since my lease was up and now I got a condition report for my car charging me with $3286.29!, Details:
Dash/instrument - broken - 201.99 - I know what this fee is for
Front armrest/console - punctured - 461.54 - absolutely no clue what this could be
CD Player - inoperable - $2472.76 - I took out my aftermarket head unit and put in my stock one perfectly and used it for a week with absolutely no problems. They might be referring to the radio static and that is probably due to my shorty antenna, which i totally forgot to change before giving the car back, but otherwise the cd player is in perfect condition!!
Other/see notation - glass damage - 150.00 - this is likely for my super duper light tint, which I never thought would be any sort of problem

This is just insane! They are charging me for problems that i've never even thought could have existed in my car. On top of that, I returned the car with 40,000 less kilometers than I was allowed to have on the car at the end of my lease. This is ridiculous.

I never understood why people upgrade a car they do not intend to keep.

I definitely intended to keep it, that's why I began modding it, but I just got sick of having a two seater after a while...

Hell no, there's nothing even wrong with it. I used it perfectly before returning the car. I seriously don't even see how they could even expect me to pay them.

Leasing is stupid unless it's a lease for a business vehicle.

How long was your lease? If it was less than 3 years, I would see if any of those items can be covered under warranty.

It was 4 years and the car was driven only 39000km when it was allowed to be driven up to 96000km without a charge. On top of that, it was in absolutely mint condition so I don't see how these people are possibly trying to charge me.

What's ridiculous is that you didn't go to the dealer and sit down with them and have them show you each problem. Posting here isn't going to help. We don't know what the problems that you listed are.

I haven't read your lease either, I don't know what the rules and conditions of it are. My guess is that you must return the car in perfect working condition. They're figuring it will cost $3000 for that to happen. If you want it less than that, you need to be talking to them.

is it impossible to turn in a lease and have them inspect it while you are present? I would worry that they would try to scam me into paying more, if something isn't working I'd like them to show me it *before* I leave.

either way I would never lease, just saying..
