Default what does it mean...

What does it mean when a car has been at the deal lot sitting since december? does it mean somethings wrong with it or they just can't sell it?

Anyways if you guys read my other posts ive been looking forever and still am. I was looking for an 05 or up A/T with less then 40k miles for around $16,000, BUT if higher mileage cars are still dependable i was thinking of looking for ones with higher mileage since they do go for cheaper. What you guys think?

it means that they can't sell it, most likely.

For high mileage cars, you want to check if its stock/who the previous owner was/his or her driving style..
Check carfax to see if there where any accidents.

But why not save a few grand more and get an 07

More specific details on your possible purchase would yield you a more accurate answer. (year/make/model/mileage/etc...)

Thanks for the replys.

Well the car I was wondering about is an 05 black/black 350z with 31k miles. It says its the 35th anniversary edition but i dont really know just looks like a touring model to me. Its listed at $17990 and it the price did go down from when i saw it in december ($19,900) but now its just $17,990 no changes in months. I was waiting to see if the price would go down but i dont think it is.. im assuming dealer paid too much and doesnt wanna sell for a loss...

Or

b. Seller is rejecting offers.

to add to it, dealer may have been asking too much for too long as the Z lost a lot of value rapidly, it is an easy mistake to make. waiting for a sucker..

people arent buying cars right now.

I've seen an 05 blue Z at a lot around here for 8 months now. Still has the 25k price tag on it. still no chance in hell of selling.
