A private sale is difficult. $14,500 is a good price, but the buyer must have cash or shop for a loan. A buyer can walk into a dealer, and walk out with a 370Z with $6,000 cash down. So the buyer is looking at $14,500 for a used Z or $6,000 for a new one.

Man, Carmax offered me $12K for the Z!. wtf, "Excellent shape"...used to have it for $16k & pretty much nothing, dropped to $15k, now $14500 (needs brakes/rotors, but not even obviously...maybe I should not say they need them, but I try to be honest).

In fact, anybody think $675 is too much for 12-15K miles on a Nismo Exhaust...????

I'm surprised too!

Just keep it if you can, you'll lose so much money selling it right now. You only have 33k miles, drive it for a few more years.

Is it an auto?

I just bought an 04 touring with 33K for $17,500...I feel I got a great deal, compared to other cars in my area.....it's a standard, and i went through a dealer.

a cars only worth as much as the next person will pay and yes its time to face the fact that your car is obviously not worth what you think it is, nor what some random forum guy says to justify his own purchase and or re-assure himself of his own cars value. i hope your not upside down on your loan

I just purchased on 04.5 Touring 6spd w/59K for $12K so your's for $14,500 with nearly half the mileage is a great deal for someone! Selling a used car is tough right now but stick it out!

Thanks for the advice. Luckly, it's paid for...but I want to get rid of it & pay off some accumulating bills.

It's a 6-speed.
