I have an 03 z that i am in the process of selling. I still owe money on the car. I recently found the car I want to buy. Is it possible for me to get another loan prior to selling my car or will it be best to sell before applying for loans. I know this might be a dumb question, but I dont want to miss out on this other car (which is being sold by a private seller).

You have a vehicle with a lien against the title. Is it possible to find a lender who will give you a loan using the car as collateral? Chances are slim. Very slim.
