Default Your thoughts on this 350z?

I am looking to buy a 350z and found this one while lurking around on craigslist.
Please share your thoughts on whether this would be a good car or not.
Has a lot of engine modifications, but it appears that nothing was done to the exterior.

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/1550059187.html

EDIT: The craigslist says $14,000, but he said he would take $12,000.

Thanks for your help in advance,
Chris

doesn't say if its clear title or not and how many owners, i would expect him to be the only owner and it has clear title and zero accidents and not a base for that price

I sent him an email asking all of those questions, thanks for the advice.
I also got a reply back from him and he will take $12,000 for the car.

Don't know what model. Are the front wheels just dirty or beat to hell?

somethings fishy if he lowered the price on himself for no reason, ask him why he's selling it. or did you ask him if he'll take $12k?

Oh no, I asked him if he would take $12,000 cash for the car, and he said he could do that.

Here is his reply to the email I sent him yesterday:
No I am not the original owner. I am not a smoker, but car was smoked in when I let a friend drive it for 2 days since I had gotten arrested and didnt want it towed and impounded. I was I purchased the car in april of 09 from BMW of Tulsa. There are no dents or scratches(pictures will prove). The clutch and flywheel were installed at Jackie Cooper Nissan. All of the other performance parts were installed by me. It ws backed into once which resulted in a front bumper. Also, I had a freak accident while driving with the traction control system off. I got sideways and hit the curb, which resulted in the right rear rim being replaced and some of the rear suspension items on that side, but had no body damage. All of the repairs were done through my insurance and at respectable collision centers, not just done by some random guy. It is currently in Tulsa, oklahoma. I'm usually pretty easy on the car, however I will tell you that I have had a couple of races on the freeway.
He sure knows how to turn down a potential buyer

Well you can guarantee that it was beat on hard with those mods.

But if u plan on modding it almost all the work is done already, the only thing he didnt mention was headers and tune. Finish the car off with some Crawfords/Uprev Tune/100shot and your ready!!

I would get it.
