The 350Z costs more in some countries. Less in some countries. That’s what I heard.

Isn't Holden the only "Australian automaker?"

Wasn't the 350z like 50-60k retail over there?

Kind of a bargain if it's anywhere close to 23k. Just sell some of that bling.

350's were over 70k new here, we have a lot my taxes and duty in aus. Example we pay 10% goods and services tax + 3.5% stamp duty and the there is luxury car tax which is 33% of every dollar over $57,180. That all being said our depreciation is no where near as bad as the US so I guess there are some good things about it

^^^ that explains a lot, thanks. And since the pictures aren't up any longer, the Z in question was iridescent with big chrome rims and neon lights.

I would just take an S15 Sylvia or an R34 GT-R for ease of modding...but I'm sure those two cars don't have nearly as much novelty as they do here in the states.

in the US its almost impossible to import a car from overseas that is already sold in the US. such as a RHD JDM honda prelude or a JDM 350Z.
what are you laws down there? can you just ship a 350Z down there and register it no problem? if so imma start hustling 350zs in australia

Australia's laws are pretty much the same in that regard. You certainly can't import a 350z.

No sadly our laws are super strict. Also S15's are super common here and Skylines just don't have that wow factor that they would over there. You can get a R32 GTR for under $10k every day of the week.
