Question i wanna buy an used 350z

I have a 09 scion tc right now, but i wanna trade it in to a deal. Can anybody tell me what should i do when i trade in? And how much should i still give to the dealer if i wanna a 05 or 07 350z convertible. And any suggestions what specific year should i buy?

Well every 350 is used now. Research what trade in would be for you then find the car you want get a price. Subtract your trade in from the price they give you haha

Do reasearch! !! Do u know the tmv or trade in value of your scion? Did you even search for the 350z u want? I doubt it because if you did you wouldn't ask this question. The year is up to you HR I am bias to I would buy another in a heartbeat which I may.

negotiate the cost of the car youd like without telling them you are trading in.

this takes away one of the numbers they can play with.

once youve found the car you want, at the price you want, negotiate a value for your trade in. don't give them too many numbers to fudge with and confuse you.

Sorry but it is not going to work. You are over your head ( owe more than trade in value) on the Scion. If you wanted a 350Z you would had bought one. Instead you got a Scion and are stuck with it.

Correction: The correct term is "upside-down" on the loan.

unless your credit rating and history is solid, your lender is awesome, you can afford higher payments easily and you get an incredible deal on the 350z so that the new auto loan is within their margin (generally 110 to 130% of the wholesale value of the car).

not that I would know or anything, I didn't transfer 8k upside down debt onto a new auto loan for my Z. really intelligent thing to do. *whistles innocently*

he never specified if he owes on his scion or not so it's a bit quick to jump the gun.

Vtec, it jus kicked in yo. (everyone else is replying with useless **** lol)
seriously this question is one you can't get a good answer to on a forum. You have to go to te dealer and look at ur options. Unless u were expecting someone to trade their roadster for ur scion? Lol I don't kno but goodluck regardless
