vip pricing
Depends on what you mean, not sure of any specific VIP program but many corporations have deals with manufacturers and dealerships. Through my work I can get most any car at 1% above invoice and Fords/GM's at below invoice.
The latest is that only a Nissan employee can use the special programs to buy the Z and that is after the preorders get theirs. It is not open to anyone else like family and friends or suppliers yet.
Correct.
Most of the corporate deals state "Available cars, not subject to limited quantity", which basically means once the hype is over and the cars are regularly in stock.
That should be next Spring at the latest, maybe then I will consider ordering a track if I can weasel it at invoice+1%.

Well, it depends on the deal you get. I have always found it much easier to get great deals on domestic cars, no matter their price.
The best way to get a great car is find a showroom demo, which I have seen brand new 50k vettes go for 38-39k with 2k miles on them from just putzing around customers.
