I wanted to purchase this car

http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/1787275210.html

does anyone know what are the known issues for this model (it is a 2005 35th anniversary model)?
what should i be paying more attention on when i inspect this car?

It's not an anniversary model, it just has the special paint.

^...what he said. Check the condition of the brakes, tires, leaks, fluids etc.... just use common sense when looking it over. Drive it too and see how it feels

the 05 yellow had the rev up. They had issues. I can't comment on that specific car.

35th anniversary manuals and track models had the Rev up all others had the standard DE.

Anyone else think the exhaust is unusually black like he was running TP's or NOS?

Its not a rev up car, its just a yellow 05, nothing special.

Correct. Rev-ups have a redline of 7100, this car redlines at 6600. All anniversary editions had the Rev-up engine. So, this isn't an Anniversary Edition.

Also, the Anniversary Edition had the Brembo brakes IIR. From the pics, it doesn't look like this car does.

Do not be concerned about the rev-up motor. Add a quart of oil every month. What will that cost? $25/year. Same as a tank of gas.

I think the Rev-up engines were all replaced under warranty?
