Default Realistic price for a new enthusiast?

Hello,

I have posted previously, and I am looking to buy a new Z in silverstone or silver. Now, I was wondering if anybody in their expert opinions could tell me what a realistic price for a new enthusiast is, can be '03 or '04. I went to a dealer and they offered a new enthusiast model with aerodynamic package, and other extras like floor mats and cargo net for 29k.

Anybody have any thoughts as to what I should offer as a realistic figure? Please let me know, I keep looking at prices on the net but different sites say different things, I wanted to hear from the experts.

Thanks.

For a 2004 with all those options..29K is a decent price.
For 2003,,,you definitely should shop around.

Here is a link to Carmax with new 2004 and 2003.
There is an 04 Enthusiast thats about same price.
There is also a 03 Performance for 29366.
Sorry I dunno how to make the link linkable.

For a 2003, how much do you think is a good deal? they found one without the aerodynamics package, but they still want to charge 29k, Im thinking that based on depreciation and the lack of aerodynamics package they should knock off about 1-1.5k.

Any thoughts?

tell them you can get a 03 Performance for the same price from the link above.

Performance is I believe 2700 more than Enthusiast from edmunds.com

I just picked up my 04 CS enthusiast last week. Found a dealer with it sitting on the lot.

Mine did NOT have the Aero package, and I got it for 28,000 even.

With the Aero package, you could probably add about 200-400 more bucks for it

i went to a dealership today. $30,880 sticker. he starts at $33880 out the door (the guy gave me $100 off i was like... umn..... ) my first counter was $30,880 out the door and he wouldnt even take it to his boss, so i walked out. (i was planning at gettin it for 28800 + 3000(taxes, fees) = 31800)

the car was an 04 CS enthu. plus side air bags, splash guards and other simple option like trunk mats and stuff

is my goal too unrealistic? but i had a friend who got 2400$ off MSRP on his enthu.

you gotta understand the the delta between dealer invoice and sticker on the lower end models is much smaller than on the TRACK and Touring version.

Granted the invoice price is NOT the true dealer price, because they get a 3% Dealer "Hold back" and marketing rebate.

But the difference between invoice and MSRP on an enthusiast is only $2,190 bucks (give or take about 100 bucks).

So, if the invoice is 26, 980, then another 500 for side airbags, and another 400 (invoice) for aero package, now the invoice price is around 27, 800. If your taxes, title, license come to 3000 bucks, then theres no way in hell you are getting this car for less than 31,800.

i love internet managers. they love to beat anyones price. 1200 off MSRP on an 04 g35 coupe 6mt. I sent the guy a thank-you card

not to mention 1000 more on my trade, .5% better on the rate than the other dealer i placed a deposit with. The other dealer was accusing me of being a liar, lowballer, etc. I told him, i already bought the car, its not like you're gonna change my mind, sorry. I feel bad for them though, my Z is still sitting on their lot. I drive by once in a while on my way to work to take a look at it!
