Needing Guidance from the Guru's (03 Z)
Right well its been almost a week since my CRX got totalled off, and i gotta be honest....i've never owned a 350Z. its always been my dream car.
now you gotta keep in mind, i'm on limited funds here (depending on if plans fall through)
This is one i'm considering, to me its easier to import a car from the states and the best thing is they allow damaged cars into the country with a "repairable" status. as long as they have that as a title then i can import it into the country.
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...acktype=usedcc
So my Question is. Is this Z worth it? i know there's not much too look at for pics, but i can probably e-mail them for more pics.
i would like to know how much (approx.) of an estimate of parts and what all i need to repair this thing (that is IF I can get it).
one more note...what the heck is in back hatch area? lol
i also have a number of other different cars that i'm looking at (acura, bmw, honda, toyota, volkswagen) ones that have the same price range, that are clean titled.

Just by looking at the pics,I would'nt touch it.Just too much damage to the panels(you
would be better off putting on a body kit than replacing with OEM stuff!).The interior looks dirty, stained seats. What about mechanical probs? What happened when the car hit/got hit? You'll put in again as much as you are paying for the car just to get it together. You could buy a 03 in decent condition for less than that.
PASS!

if you are limited on funds, the z is not for you in general, let alone a car that has known issues.
Think logically. You know this is a bad idea.
Going from a wrecked CRX to a wrecked 350z is not an upgrade.
This car is good for someone who has realistic income and works at a body shop or is a mechanic. Labor is free, and parts at wholesale etc. If you had to pay to get that stuff repaired and replaced, its easily the cost of the vehicle all over again.
13k gets you a great used Z.
That car is a sweet deal for a guy who already builds 350zs or is going to mod the hell out of it anyways with big cash.
