The ugly oil consumption problem has shown itself
Gonna get off this thing and get a wrx I think

How much should I expect a dealership to offer me?
How much should I accept?

After extended warranty, alarm, tint, taxes, reg, etc etc I owe the bank about $20k as of today
I undertstand I'm gonna take a hit I'm just curious how bad they are gonna screw me


I would prefer not to deal with a private sale even though I may get more $
I'd rather not **** someone over with this oil problem

Not 20k. Be prepared to take pretty good loss.

 

Need mileage, condition, package, etc... KBB has a section for trade-in value.

 

I'm guessing around 11-15k since dealers would prolly end up selling for 16-18k.

Condition is good. The usual stuff w these cars, Small chips in paint on front bumiper, scratches on cheap interior surfaces likes the door panels etc

You will take a loss either way, more if you are trading in.. But you do get that tax incentive and you won't need to worry about ****ing over an end user.

I would get into a used WRX if you can or even an older Z. I personally hate the Rev-Up engine.

 

Acording to NADA, a Base 2006 with 70K miles clean retail is worth about $14.5K. That's retail, not trade-in. You do have a Base, don't you? Either way, that a huge loss OP. Ever consider getting an HR motor?

 

I can't comprehend that you owe 20,000... Is that really what you owe?

damn, how do you owe that much if it was 17k. Even after all those stuff like alarm and warranty you should have at least paid past the 17 k by now
