Personally, I think it could be worth $13k if the car was more immaculate and didn't have some of those aesthetics, i.e. the godawful wheels, the mismatched bodykit, neon lights, and the "new paint job." I wonder what that's really covering.
Check the engine, see if you can poke around underneath the car, drive around and listen to the engine and in-cabin noises, etc. Hell, check all the fluids to see if they're clean or topped off.

Whether modding a kitchen or a car........the mods may only have value to the person who did them, especially the more specific or unique they are. This guy may believe his mods are just fantastic.
Specifics: The dual fog lights on the bumper. The wheels seem more appropriate for a Dodge product. The gigantic air inlet on the front of the bumper - which probably does not lead to anything.
Look for more of a "blank slate" car. It'll cost you less and will leave you a lot less to un-screw.

thanks, i got to drive it already and it sounds nice. Really smooth drive. I know that the mods detract from the value but its hard to find a low mileage 350z thats not too expensive, and if i had a 350z with no mods, id probably add most of the ones this one already has, just not the same ones.
I would sell you my 03 Touring with my Volks and name brand parts for 11K.... If that says anything. I have a feeling that car was ragged and beat on by a young person. Plus it's a auto, who buys a 2 door sports car that's a auto unless it has paddles??! Lol. His FS post would scare me away personally. Lights in the wheels, upgraded shifter?. Throws red flags to me personally.
