Default Really low mileage 03

Had a thread on here about a possible buy, and have been looking out for a clean z ever since. Found this gem while stalking autotrader:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=73106&endYear=2013&sellerTypes=b&tr ansmissionCode=MAN&maxPrice=16000&transmissionCodes=MAN&mmt=[NISSAN[350Z[]][]]&modelCode1=350Z&sortBy=mileageASC&showcaseOwnerId=570159&ma keCode1=NISSAN&startYear=2003&maxMileage=60000&numRecords=10 0&searchRadius=300&listingId=338978873&listingIndex=3&Log= 0

Almost 9k miles and looks like a touring model. $16k does sound high, but the car has been well taken care of and may deserve a little premium. What do the old schoolers on here think?

Thanks, guys!

Is your goal the oldest low mileage Z? If so buy it. If not buy a newer one at the same price.

Absolutely not. I'd like to find a clean, well-taken care of car. 07+ Zs start around $17.5-18k in OK area. I've been on a look-out since the summer time, and haven't come across many clean cars that fit the bill. I was really surprised to find a Z with such low miles, and was just curious how you guys value these.

The 03 is the resurrection of the Z. In my opinion if it is correct and original then that car will be valued in the future. You would need to treat it correctly though, keep the miles low, don't drive it in the rain, don't drive it as a daily driver.

UNBELIEVABLE low miles for a 03(Touring?).
My take the owner is a older guy, bought it new, drove it on weekends etc.
Who would put a K&N sticker on the engine cover?
Heavy asking price for this car.In reality its still a 03 350Z.Of course some
premium has to be given for the low miles and the shape that its in.It prolly
has the original tires and/or replacements due to getting it fixed for the
tire feathering problem. If your plan is to find a mint car and keep in mint
condition---no mods, this is it.If you want to mod your car like most of us,
I'd pass on this one and find either a newer car if this price is in your budget.
Or,another 03-04 at a reasonable price to add your own mods.
