Default Comparing models: your opinion needed!

So basically I'm in the market for a 350z. I saw 2 online that I like, ones a daytona blue (love the color) 2003 enthusiast with 50,000 up for $12,000. The other is a Silverstone 2005 touring with 85,000 up for the same price. I want the blue for the less miles and color, even though it doesn't have heated seats and navi, which doesn't bother me much but I really like the bose audio and MP3 input option. I like the color of the blue more than the silver (I just find the silver too common and can't think of how I should modify it to my personal liking) so I'm in a tough spot with what I should go with. I plan to keep this car for 4-5 years, knowing that, what do you suggest I go with? Thanks in advance guys!

You like the blue better and it has less miles... Where's the debate?

The navigation, heated seats, Bose audio, and audio input method, has me still hung up about the silver!

The Bose sounds like crap and the OEM nav systems sucks just as bad. Don't let those features make you buy a car. In fact, I specifically bought a base car so I could install the aftermarket options I wanted.

Have any Z you buy checked out first by someone with experience/knowledge specific to these cars, and avoid modded cars. Each model year has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Even a $300 aftermarket headunit will sound better than the Bose, and provide more input options. And, it's simple to mount an aftermarket GPS in the cubby, which is cheaper, more functional, and easy to update with current maps:

Holy crap, hydro dipped? It looks really nice! And yeah I'm a little knew to the Zs I've only been researching them for about 6 months now but the aftermarket stereo looks really simple. As for the navigation, I constantly have my phone on and with me so I really don't fear that I'll need it.

Yeah, the later Z's especially have an issue with poor-quality coatings on the center console and interior door handles. Lots of guys do a vinyl wrap, but I think hydrodipping is a better-looking and more-permanent solution. My Kenwood headunit will work with the GPS in my iPhone, but I prefer a separate GPS unit because it's more full-featured and easier to see.

I would go for the one with less miles. You will have less repairs and own it longer.

How much is it to vinyl wrap vs hydro dip?
And yeah, I will most likely go for that. I kind of want to pit the two dealers against each other to see whats the lowest offer I can get. Will most likely go with the blue though

I know local guys who have paid ~$150 to have all those pieces wrapped in 3M vinyl. Expect at least double for hydro-dipping, plus the parts need to be prepped. The pieces in the center console need to be sanded smooth, and all that crappy rubberized coating has to be stripped from the door handles (lacquer thinner works, and then some light sanding). There are surely some local shops in Chicago for either, bt take a look at their work, first, especially for hydrodiping. The first guy I used (JM Auto Racing, a vendor here) did an absolutely sh!tty job and I had to strip everything and send them to this place:

Do yourself a favor and go with the blue since it has less miles and you like the way it looks. The other options can all be replaced easier than a color can be changed. And after 4-5 years with the blue one and the mods you put on it you will not want to get rid of it. My personal opinion of course

MP3 input with Bose? Are you talking about an auxillary input?

Dcains, yeah the hydro looks like the better way to go.
And not exactly, just the fact that it has a cassette input where I use my phone

You're better off going aftermarket in that case.

Daytona Blue with low miles is the obvious choice.

Stock audio always should be replaced in Z's.. when you replace the speakers you'll see first-hand how much of a joke they are.

Cassette input where you put your phone? Lol come on man it's almost 2014 upgrade your stereo to have an easy aux input or Bluetooth audio capability.
