Ill make this short. I have a bmw z4 03 3.0i I'm looking to buying a z. I might get my friends modded z. He says stock its 245 to the wheels. And he is at 290 he's got custom exhaust, real cf hood. Plenum spacer ect...

Thanks for the opinions guys! I'm still young so that could be why I like it. Just maybe the carbon fiber hood is pushing it. But it is pretty nice in person. The picture isn't the greates.

 

The carbon fiber hood usually adds about 15whp but mostly at night.

 

Might paint the oil/trans cooler black so that it doesn't look as much like an interfooler.

 

He got 50 hp from bolt ons? I think you should buy that car and drive it into a scrap shredder to put it out of its misery.

 

290whp? I think your friend is a liar. Z isn't terrible though. I've seen better and I've seen worse.

Hood, wheels, and tow hook would get removed/replaced immediately after purchase if it was me
