Default I need your opinion on 2006 350Z by $10,200.

I have been searching since month for 350Z 06 and above with less than 100,000 Miles and the budget is $10k .

I went today to see the car. it was nice outside but still needs some clean ( front lights and front pump too). Also, color needs polishing.

The only thing I don't like is Auto transmission. I wish it was a manual.
Car : 350Z
Year: 2006
Miles: 84,000
Price : $10,200

I need your opinion since you own a Z and know much more than me about the car. Thanks for your time and I appreciate your help

Are you going to do this everytime you find a new Z for sale? Seems like a decent price for the car. Its impossible to tell what you are getting without looking closely at the car. If you dont know much about cars, take a mechanic with you to look at the car.

I read more negative in your description than there is positive. NOT saying the car is bad (hard to really know based on just description) but what I am saying is: YOU'RE really not sure you want it so you're actually talking yourself out of it. And that's a good thing.

Look what you wrote:

"...but still needs some clean ( front lights and front pump too). Also, color needs polishing."

but this, this is a CRITICAL choice...

"I wish it was a manual"

I know where you're at. You're right there. So close you can taste the Castrol oil in your mouth.

But I think you need to wait for JUST THE RIGHT ONE to come along because those negatives are going to come back to bite you.... you'll always want those things to be different. Just wait and keep looking, there's a zillion Z's out there.

Didn't you listen to us in your other thread about the roadster? Do NOT compromise on something as important as transmission type.

That's like saying "I wish this horse and buggy was a 350Z!" That's a major point of the vehicle. Personally I wouldn't get a sporty car without a Manual gearbox. If you have ANY doubt, somewhere down the line that doubt will show it's ugly "I told you so" face.

Wait for the car to show up. Don't force it. I'm not going to tell you again.

Pro Tip: Don't buy a car from a dealership that has "Deals" in its name.
