Default State of PA shut down, how do i sell car privately?

Selling a car privately. All of the auto tags places as well as new car sales are in mandatory shut down due to COVID19 with no opening date posted.

Any idea how I would go about selling a car and transferring the title when the needed places are closed?

I bought a car 3 weeks ago and now need to sell it. I didn't transfer the title or register the car (not thinking the DMV/auto tag places would be shut down) and now I have the title signed over to me (it's out of state) and a notarized BOS. So the title is still out of state and i haven't started the process yet. Am I "stuck" with this car till the DMV opens and i can have the title transferred into my name and then I can sell it?

The pandemic is no joke, and asking how you can sell a car in the midst of it makes it seem like you're not taking it seriously. There's no practical way to get your titlework done, and how many buyers do you think you'd attract anyway? Use the time to work on the car yourself to get it ready for sale, but for the foreseeable future, you're SOL.

Sorry you lost your job right after you bought your car, that sucks.
You can always advertise on FB and CL, take payment by PayPal but here's the thing- it's gonna be a good trick to sell a car when you don't have an original clear title in hand. Car retailers here are scrambling to unload their inventory during this crisis. I think DKs advice is solid. Gl!

So I have an OLD (though beloved) car I need to sell, and I'd like to try my hand at doing it privately - most likely through Craigslist (though if you have any other Pittsburgh-specific resources I'm all ears!). I've read advice for selling safely via Craigslist, I've read the PA DMV's information about selling in PA, but I've never done this before and am a little unclear on the logistics - can you help?
