Pricing
ok, I was checking out the prices for all the models of the Z. I dont understand this.
Ok on the Enthusiast, its $970 for the automatic and no extra charge for the manual. But on the Touring model, it costs MORE money for the manual transmission than the Automatic. And its $1590 for the manual. How can manual be more expensive than the automatic. Someone please explain to me the reasoning for their pricing decisions. It has confused me. Anyone have any ideas to why they would do that?

The manual on the touring includes the performance options (18" wheels, tire pressure monitor, etc) but the AT version doesn't. Most of us wondered how an MT could cost more than the AT but it was all in the fine print.

It's because when you get the manual with the Touring model, it also includes the equipment from the performance model that it doesn't have already (Vehicle Dynamic Control, tire pressure monitor, 18" wheels and wider tires in back).
