Clean title. There has been damage the to rear hatch, but it was fixed without issue. I have a copy of the vehicle history (NMVTIS) if anyone would like it. I can send as a pdf.

Let me first say, I have gone back and forth of whether to sell this car. I have a lot of emotional attachment (good and bad) to it. I am the only one to ever own this car. I have no true reason in selling it other than school is taking up all of my time and money and it would be nice to have some extra cash to do other things in life. I know if I keep the car, I will continue to mod and change things, thus spending more money. I love this car, but I am just seeing if there is any interest in it. I would like to give it someone who can truly enjoy it instead of it just sitting in a garage being wasted.

I have no need to sell this car, so I will not budge too much on my price. Please do not pollute the thread with opinions on my price. I know other cars that are cleaner, etc. have sold for cheaper, blah blah blah. I am not a noob, if you don’t like the price, please keep it to yourself. Again, I am in no need to sell it.

My asking price is 28k OBO.

And I am sure there are a few things that I am missing here and there.

Brief History of the car; I have all of this documented with photos if anyone would like to see.

I have been through just about all you can be through with the 350z. I have a provided a brief summary of my progress from purchasing the car brand new, until my latest build completion.

Got the car new in 06, started off with NA mods (motordyne exhaust, mrev2, spacer, straight pipes, etc.). Sounded awesome, wanted more. Came across a shop that had acquired two heavily modded Z's from a customer who ran out of money and sold the Z's to them for cheap. Decided to take APS tuner turbo off of one of the Z's and add it to my 5AT. Upgraded the valve body, put down around 400 wheel. Enjoyed it for about 8 months, and one of the turbo's started smoking. One of the modded Z's had an AEBS 4.3L engine in it with an APS Extreme turbo kit. Made a deal with the shop (and my buddy who was part owner of the shop) to swap the motor and transmission into my current car. The motor had not been set-up right since even before they acquired the car. The deal was if it works and everything is good, I pay for it. If not, I lose a lot of hard work but still get to keep the 6 speed. Well, we did the swap and what do ya know, motor had knock when we got it going.

Talked to Dynosty (Injected Perf) at the time about buying a short block. Ended up with a great deal on the a BC 4.15L stroker and sleeved block they had that was ready to go. Purchased it. Decided to swap the heads from the AEBS motor (which seemed to be fine at the time) to the newly acquired short block along with the APS extreme kit. Buddy and me put it together, and took it Dynosty (IP) for tune. Wasn't increasing in power like it should of been. The diagnosis was that it had to be the turbos. Dropped the motor, took the kit off, one turbo was bad. Decided to rebuild the turbos. Sent them off and when they came back, got them back on, then back to Dynosty for a tune. Once it started making power, boost started coming through the coolant system. Took the motor off again, turns out there was a crack in the heads.

Being fed up with everything I told Dynosty I wanted them to take over, to touch every single thing that I had and to make sure it was clean and in working order. Ultimately, for them to do all of the work lol. During this time, Greg at Injected was also trying to sell a custom SFR twin PT67 kit that was previously on a customer's car. I decided to pick this up and sell the APS extreme to get rid of the cast manifolds. I also decided to upgrade the whole fuel system and clutch (used to have the extreme fuel system and an RPS clutch). Again, I was frustrated with how everything had been going so I told Dynosty to have the turbo's inspected, rebuilt, etc. At this time, also bought the following, and sold a lot of my "rare", much loved parts (All of my ARC items, my TK Hebi Bebi ****, and my Project Mu brakes to free up some extra money. I traded the PMu's for Stoptechs with money on top. This still hurts me lol. I still with I had them, but oh well.)

Brand new set of heads from Nissan, had some ferrea valve train put in (no oversized valves or port/polish because I could not afford it)
New CJM dual hanger fuel pump
New High Flow Fuel Rails
New ID2000 injectors in hopes of running e85
Kenne Bell Boost a pump for the CJM
Cosworth plenum with CF end caps (ended up buying new metal end caps because previous owner destroyed the seals on them with resin)
GTM Spec Exedy Triple Disc Carbon clutch
And some other little things. Had the downpipes, Burn's headers, and turbo hotsides ceramic coated.

Now, or most recent lol
Started tuning. Car was doing great. Started turning up the boost. After a few pulls and making 822rwhp/751ftlbs at 26psi on e85, the clutch started slipping awfully (next pull made around 150rwhp lol). Another heart breaker. They called me and told me the news. It was sad, but on the other hand, it was still pretty cool it made that power and was only limited by the clutch. They also told me the KB boost a pump was over heating and that CJM was working on modifying his fuel hanger to incorporate the new Walbro e85 pump. I told them to not worry about it and to just tune it on wastegate pressure, get rid of the boost a pump and let me drive it.

Main Goods:

-The car starts up every single time. The e85 makes the cranking a little longer. But, it has never not (nice grammar) started on the first try. The idle sets a little above 1100 RPM, which is impressive for the ID2000’s on e85.
-Pulls extremely hard. Seems like it never stops. I have only gone full kilt into 6th gear once (due to me being scared on an open highway). It was still going at 160mph and was still going strong.
-AFR’s are between each bank are pretty much matched through all RPMs. Tuned wonderfully.
-Body kit and hood were professionally painted and re-fitted less than 6 months ago.
-Ice cold AC. Could let the car sit on a hot day with the AC blasting with no issue whatsoever.
-Fresh new paint and re-fitted body kit.

Main Bads:

-Wheels could use a very good cleaning or refinish. 3 out of 4 aren’t too bad. The front passenger has hazing in the clear coat. Also, a little curb rash on all of them. Nothing major, no bends either.
-Fuel gauge can be a little iffy sometime. A lot of people know this can be an issue with aftermarket hangers. The gauge will fluctuate sometimes. For example, you know there is more than half a tank in there, but it says a lot lower. Usually, will eventually correct itself given a little bit of time.
-The EDFC needs to be rewired. It works, but if you go and try to adjust the rears, it will start then say error. I can hear them trying to adjust. I think the rears are switched, but I haven’t gotten around to try and fix it since it’s not a huge deal to me.
-The stock Bose radio isn’t as wonderful as it used to be. Reception isn’t great and the CD player seems to not want to work.
-The aftermarket cooling fans are set to come one once, then stay on continuously after that. When they come on, the RPM will drop for a second, but then it is fine. These could be re-wired to have them gradually come on but it was not necessary so I decided to not do it at the time.

Summary:
The car just had its oil changed. It will be tuned on both pump and e85 allowing for you to mix without an issue before sold. Currently it is e85 due to me wanting to enjoy it for the summer.

As mentioned before, it is sitting on wastegate pressure (16psi) putting down a little over 600rwhp. If purchased, the new owner could incorporate the new Walbro 485 pump into the CJM and allow the boost to be jumped up a bit. This would allow for more power until the slipping point of the clutch and also for it to be tuned on the electronic boost control solenoid that is already installed. To see the engines real limit, a new clutch will need to be installed, but I am truthful in saying I believer the car would easily make 1000+rwhp on race fuel and a new clutch.

All work and tuning has been down by Dynosty in Louisville, KY. They also have a love-hate relationship for this car :P But they know it like the back of their hand.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to send me a message or email me at abushong@mac.com

A couple quick vids of me messing around

My tach on the dash is not correct according the the dyno. My redline is set at 7600 which is a little beyond the 8k on the dash. As you can see, I am shifting early and slow. Still getting used to it all. Only been driving a stick for about a month! I will get some better videos down the road. Just hoped this would be better than nothing!

One short pull

I've been lurking on the site longer than being a member here and I have to say, this Z is one of the best i've seen. Inspirational. I don't think i'd part with a car like this if it were mine. At the end, it's your decision, good luck man!

Well Ray, I know how much you love you some rainbows man!

I know I would regret it. It actually makes me sad to think about it being gone. But, I am trying to think about having the extra cash to be able to do whatever I want. I know I will always want to continue to mod, I am trying to fight the addiction.... as much as I don't want to lol.

Haha, well I have this pretty sick 2012 Hyundai Sonata. It gets down pretty well

I wouldn't get anything else. I would just keep the money, pay off a little debt and have a money pool I can dip into if I ever need it.

I appreciate it man. If my car looked as good as yours, I probably wouldn't be selling it

I really appreciate it. I am still very back and forth on it, but I think cash would change my mind. I will definitely be sad... for a while ha. I will have to stay off of car sites for a while. But, I think I would be able to do other things to take my mind off of it being gone then haha.

Thanks man! I know it seems so cheap, especially considering the amount gone into it. But, I've seen some of the cars that have been sold on here that are absolutely amazing and the low prices they sell for shocks me. Probably should have asked more, but I am not going to budge on it but a bit. My OBO is not very flexible haha.

Tell me about it! It's ironic that once I finally get it all straightened out and good to go I debate on selling it. Funny how life works. Whoever gets it though will for sure enjoy the hell out of it!
