Honestly it would be better to split everyone up if a lot of people want to get their cars waxed/sealed just so we could get everyone done. If everyone wanted to get their cars done in one day... not gonna happen.

J... if all you want is the sealant you dont need a kit. Just get the ZFX, Z2 and Z8. But if you want their detail spray, claybars, car washing soap as well then definitely go with a kit.

 

The two kits i saw on the Zaino website were 85$ and 117$

 

gerome go to lazaino.com you will get in 2 days. 1 day if you order it in the morning. you can't order online bcuz they can not compete with the actual zaino store located in NJ. call them and tell them which kit you want.

I chose the basic kit and upgraded the z-6 to z-8 for $10 extra. everything out the door was $110 even. I recieved it today. and i ordered it monday night!

 

if i aint got nothing to do ill still come out to chill and drink a few brews. well i guess ill pay jermery to use some of his for now. Looking to get my MS1 very soon if this guy give me the right price.

Hey jeremy do you wash after a clay bar? I've heard it both ways. Some ppl say yes and some ppl say you don't have to. And approx how long do you wait for the polish to dry before adding the z-8? From what i've read the ZFX acclerator when added to the polish does not need much time to dry.

It should be a short day because it also says in the instructions that i should only apply 3 coats of polish and Z-8 in a 24 hr period.

 

I always wash after claying the car. The clay can leave some residue or might leave behind some dirt. IMO its better to wash it again. Between coats of Z2 or Z5 i usually wait about 30 mins before buffing the sealant off. And yea it doesnt take much zaino to get a beautiful car. Add the Z8 at the end of your 3 coats (or at the end of however many you plan on putting on). Z8 is exactly what it says on the bottle... Finale Spray. Spritz it on wipe it right off and you are done. When we do meet up i really want to throw that Danase Wet Glaze on your black ride. Should give it an amazing wet look and reflections!!!

jeremy-i plan on starting early as to get the car washed,clayed and washed again. I MIGHT add a few coats of Z-2/Z-5 before you get there and possibly sealing it with Z-8. But then again i kinda wanna watch you do it, since i learn better by watching someone else do it. Honestly though Jeremy you have work and i'd really hate for you to drive 1 hr to fresno, help me detail then drive back home. That's one long *** day. If you want i'd be more than happy to wait till one of our designated detail days to apply the Zaino.

I originally planned on detailing at my mom's house, but with my brother taking space in the garage there won't be much room to move around with all my parents crap in the garage. I've decided to do it at my apt. My car is covered so the sun wont heat up the car while we apply the stuff.

 

Hehe... i would rather do it on one of the detailing days so i can be there all day or show up whenever you want me to. But whatever works. I know its hard to coordinate everyones schedules.
