Well after the massive rain in SoCal I got around to washing my Z today. (Used NXT soap). When all was dry, I noticed all these water spots, mainly on the hood. Couldn't get it off with anything! I clayed it with Mother clay, and it got the worst of it off, but there's still some light outlines there... It looks so bad.

 

Try wiping down the spots with vinegar. See my reply in this post on the same problem:
