Hi all,
My car has developed a very minor surface scratch due to debris on the front bumper. It looks like taking a ball point pen a making a small tick on oil paint. My question is, does this effect the appearance of the car once 3M is installed (i.e. will it bubble in that area, not adhere to the surface, etc)? Will that area need to be treated prior to install? Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

it should not have any noticable impact on the film. I had 2 nicks in my paint the first week before I had mine installed and the film adheres to the paint as normal. Both of my nick were about the same size that you describe. I wouldn't worry about it, just get it installed asap!
