Zaino Z-14 Plastic Magic Cleaner & Polish: A Warning!!!
As you know I am a big fan of Zaino...however their "Plastic Cleaner", should be pulled from their product line...its bad.
It drys to the expected haze, but unless the plastic is "perfectly" smooth and untextured, and especially dark colors it will stain the surface a powdery light bone color.
This haze is so hard to get off I had to use the infamous "Armor All" orange wipes to get this crap off!
I tried it on the smooth blask plastic below the windshield exterior and wiper blades on my wifes S60 and it stained it to the point I had to use the Armor All wipes to clean it off.
On the side trim, I had to use Meguirars Endurance Tire dressing to get the plastic back to dark gray!
I also use this crap on the interior plastic of my hatch on my Z....OMG!
It almost ruined it!
I tried to buff this **** out and once again had to use Armor All to get if all off.
Not only that, it seems to dry out what ever it touches.
I threw the bottle in the garbage, I dont even want a refund from Zaino, I just wanted to hurl this crap into a river.
I will continue to buy Zaino's other products, but I will tell you that for now on I will test all their stuff on a small area first.

We have used it many times on the surfaces it is for and had fine results. Head and tail lights, instruments panels, etc. I understand you where thinking it was for door panels, but textured and porus surfaces it is not used on.......

I used Zainos glass polish for glass.....
So what your saying is this stuff is meant for the clear plastic of headlights and tailights, i.e. like the glass polish but for plastic instead?
OUCH! ME DUMB!
In my "Zaino Zeal", I thought it was for any hard plastic...
I even used it on my door panels too, you know the infamously hard to clean ones...
When I combined the Armor All orange wipes on the door panels to get it off, amazingly it took off the old layer of 2001 I used to clean the panels with and had been fretting over ever since.
Although, that "combination" got my door panels back the way they were when I first bought the car after a near panic, I don't recommend it, as it was cleaned purely by accident and like you said neither Armor All or especially the Zaino is used in that way.
Its a wonder a didnt ruin anything permanent.
Well, Zaino's record remains intact now!
