Default Removing Salt/ undercarriage cleaning / Zaino??

How to clean road salt off my car and underneath it?

As soon as I get my car, I am going to put 5 coats of Zaino on it until I zaino again in April. What is the proper way to clean road salt off my car? Will Z-7 do this? I don't want to clean with a hard detergent cause I dont want to strip the zaino. Also, what is the best way to clean the undercarriage to remove the salt? I dont think just spraying underneath with water will do the trick. Are there any recommended hose attatchments that will blast high pressure water and soap? But once again, I am faced with the soap and removing Zaino problem. Help. Winter is a coming.

Z-7 will have no problem removing winter road chemicals that get on the car (actual salt is not used that much any more) , I would advise doing a lot of pre rinsing before rubbing the car down with your washing mit and Z-7.

When it gets REALLY cold, too cold to wash the car, and IF absolutely necessary, I'll go to the self wash place and just spray it off with plain water. I won't use their soap.

Thanks for the replies... but what about underneath the car? Are there any tools that make life easier? I'd like to get some soap down there as well.

Other than a hose or using the self serve car wash and spraying under there. Come warmer weather I'll put the car up on ramps and clean under it right.

Anyone have any comments on this type of device?

I figure it will make things easier to put some soap in the dispencer and clean underneath the car.
