Default i used zaino + ZFX that has been sitting in the mixing bottle for a month!

About a month ago I did my first Zaino application with two mixing bottles, one with an ounce of Z2 and ZFX, the other with an ounce of Z5 and ZFX. Since i only applied a layer of each, i had a lot of remaining mix (about half an oz of each) in each bottle. So this past weekend, a month later, I decided i would use the remaining mix in each of those bottles and applied 2 layers of the Z5 mix and one layer of the Z2 mix. I then, today, read that you are supposed to use the mix within 6 hours for optimal results. Will what I have done damage my paint? Can someone knowledgable help me out?

It probably won't bond to the paint the way it should if it sat in the bottle that long. I don't think it'll hurt anything, but the chemical reaction that occurs between the polish and the activator happened in the bottle and not on your car so I don't think you'll get an optimal result. I'd re-mix and do it the right way to make sure you get the bonding of the polish to your paint.

Ok that's something i'd be willing to do... I'll probably do this again in a few days or a week. Should I wash the car first before doing this again or can i just Z-6 the whole car then apply a few more layers? I just washed/claybar/washed this weekend right before applying those 3 layers.

if you havent driven your car and there isnt much dust/dirt/sand..... on your car you can go ahead and apply the next layers right now.

Yes. Don't put Z-6 on a dirty car though. You have to wash it if you drove it otherwise you'll be sweeping dirt and dust all over the paint when you do the Z-6.
