Default little scratches on the paint (some from a dog others from towels) help.

im a newb to this and about to wax my car and ive got some scratches that can only realy be seen in the sun ( the dog ones can kinda be seen in just good light). what are my options to get them out, any secrets. also my car is an 03 and what should i do to get the paint as good as it can look. right now i looks pritty good to me but i guess it could be better. btw its siver stone.

edit: i list of things i need would help too

You need to use a compound that will level down the scratches, you will have best results with an orbital buffer and foam padding which if you are a newbie at car detailing I figure you will not have a buffer. I have used 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009, you can use it by hand but results are limited and it is a pain to use by hand, but for a newbie it is a safe product that is fool proof and you will not mess up your paint. After its use, you would be best suited to use a product like Zaino Z-5 that helps fill and hide paint imperfections and then come and top that with Zaino Z-2 for the best shine.........

thanks.. are there any adaptors for a dremel or a power drill so i dont have to buy another motor just to power the buffer or is it kinda a special thing because of how they spin funny.

You DO NOT want to use a dremel or power drill any where near your paint, if you want a real buffer buy one of these:
