Default need help!

okay.. so i got my car last november... and while i was watching them clean my car, they used some rough brushes to clean it... when i saw them pull it back into the sun... LOTS OF SCRATCHES! they didnt really bother me until lately... my dad got his car detailed and it was FLAWLESS. i have a super black 2004 coupe... and i would like to know.. is it possible to get ALL the scratches out of my paint and have my car the way its SUPPOSED to look? i know some people have been talking about ziano... but honestly, i have no idea how to apply all the things. what i did was go down to the store, and got meguiars 3 step system and turtle wax swirl and scratch remover. i have a 10" buffer... so what i did was wash the front of the car and tried them on both sides of the hood. the side i used the turtle wax worked much better.. but still had some scratches, etc. does anybody also have a SB? and what did you guys do to make it show car quality? please help

I am in your situation, it probably needs to be buffed out with a orbital. I am taking mine to a high end body shop/detail shop. $175 and the scratches and swirls are gone.

Good place of reference is www.autopia.org

Be careful with that 10" buffer unless you know how to use it a rotary can cause more harm than good. If you want to try to fix it yourself look into buying a pc (porter cable random orbital buffer) and some velcro pads. I am not familier with the polish you are using but remember to match it with the appropriate cutting pad to maximize results. If you are unsure what pad or product to use take some pics and post them at www.autopia.org
