Default I ran over a dead animal and its blood bath underneath the car.

so i was out testdriving after adjusting my headlights, and the light was aiming too high, couldn't see shiet. all of a sudden, i see this big something on the ground. i was too close to it already, so i just went over it, hoping it just goes through. that thing tumbled underneath my car, and i just came home to readjust my lights.

i get out of the car, and i smell some meat cooking. i said to myself, "uh oh." i looked underneath my car and it is bloodbath underneath.

some blood was already dried up due to heat, and there is a big chunk of meat stuck there too.

i immediately went to a carwash and sprayed water on it, but there still are some dried blood stains.

here is a picture of bloodbath.

i picked up a long stick to take that piece of meat out, and it was some kind of organ. i feel like

what should i do with those dried blood stains? i really don't wanna touch it.

water's not doing much. is there any cleaning stuff i can use on that?

i can't drive with blood all over the car...

Ughhhh....that is so f*ckin gross man.

I think the worst part about the whole thing is the inards you pulled out .

I'd get one of those brushes with a long handle that some people use to wash their trucks or a use a high power sprayer to blast the blood off.

Dood, high pressure hose...

At least it wasn't a skunk. I did that before, can't remember how long that smell stayed on my car...

yeah. i took it to the self carwash place and used their high pressure water to get the stain out, but no luck. the heat made the blood dry up too fast and it is really on there. im gonna have to scrub it out or something.

i just don't wanna touch it.

it is so fukin gross... that burning meat smell made me sick.

i wonder what animal it was. it was pretty big, so i assumed it was a dog, but i really don't know what it is. i just hope it wasn't a human...

imagine little jimmy waking up and going to the end of his drive way to wait for the bus, only to find his dog totaly obliterated with chunks missing and blood every were. it probably would not help when the bus pulls up and runs it over a second time.

at least he didnt hit a ***** like that last guy.

It happened to me also, and it will be a while before you have it completely clean, the smell is horrible and you will find meat in all places. When you think you have it completely clean you will smell it again and find some more.

The only way is to jack the car up or put it on a lift and go over it very well, those cross black metal braces catch a lot.

Last fall, October, ran over deer carcase on freeway (night time and going a bit fast for visability). Filed insurance claim. End restult $3,000 worth of repair. Front bumper cover damaged, alingment checked but OK, misc under car items and a good cleaning by repair facility. Even with all of this, there were a few days during the winter that I could smell the meat cooking. As of this spring no odor.

ewww....

i ran over a skunk once, on a one way road with traffic on the other side and cars behind me so i slowed down as much as i could thinking i could go over it with no problems...

well i put my car up on the lift a few days later cause the check engine light came on and found out that that little bastard snagged my o2 sensor wire right out of the plug on the test pipes

still haven't replaced it, im sure it'll be a few hundred bucks...

anyways, back to your incident... ewwwwwwwwww
