New Z owner & Zaino Question
Howdy,
I picked up my 05 Touring Z a week ago. It's my first new car and quite the jump up from my last (Ford Focus
). It's super black and I can easily tell it's going to need a lot of TLC in Arizona.
I ordered a Zaino kit and it arrived today. My question is about temperature. Most of the day its over 100 and its been peaking around 108. Can I do the Zaino process in these conditions? I don't have access to a garage or any place to do it that isn't exposed to direct sunlight. I can wait until the sun starts to go down but then working light is an issue.
Any tips?
Thanks in advance...

Im jealous. I didnt buy a black Z since my wife didnt want it in black and also because I thought it would get scratched quickly. But then again, I hadnt discovered Zaino. If I knew Zaino was around, then I would of bought the black one even if the misses complaint.
LOL.
The Zaino is going to be extraordinary on the super black. Post pics.
You might want to contact people with a lot of Zaino knowledge like Dr.Bonz. I think he is in this forum too. Or you can always call Zaino themselves.
I only have 10 layers on so far.

Make sure the surface isn't hot....a hot surface will make working with products absolute hell.
The temperature will be good for drying...but try to avoid a hot finish.
If there are shade trees around you should grab one to get some shade while you apply the polish.
Happy Zainoing
i have the black too and i recommend the 3m detailing cloths....they are yellow and they work very good on black. no swirl marks or spider webs. don't do any detailing in the sun....the cooler the better and only do small areas at a time
